Another way of keeping your stuff safe - LWC Empty
PostSubject: Another way of keeping your stuff safe - LWC   Another way of keeping your stuff safe - LWC Icon_minitime18/3/2012, 02:43

We will be using LWC as a protection plugin instead of lockette.
instead of those nasty signs everywhere, you'll just have to type in a command and pucnh the stuff Smile

List of commands available to you:
  • /cprivate - Create a private chest/door/furnace/dispenser.
  • /cpublic - Create a public chest/door/furnace/dispenser.
  • /cremove - Removes the protection from your chest/door/furnace/dispenser.
  • /cpersist - allows you to private more then one chest/door/furnace/dispenser at a time, type /lwc -r modes to stop.
  • /lwc -r modes - puts you back in normal mode.
  • /cmodify modifies who has access to your private chest/door/furnace/dispenser.

Detailed explanation below!

/cprivate - Places you in private mode. At this point, you will be prompted to left click a chest or furnace. When you left click the chest or furnace, you will get the message "Created private protection successfully". This chest is now private and can only be opened by you

/cpublic - Places you in public mode. At this point, you will be prompted to left click a chest or furnace. When you left click the chest or furnace, you will get the message "Created public protection successfully". This chest is now public and can be opened by anyone, but it is owned by you and cannot by locked by another person.

/cpersist - This command is used for if you have a large chest room and wish to lock all the chests without having to type "/cprivate" before locking each one. To use this command, follow these steps:
  1. Type /cpersist to enter Persist Mode
  2. Type /cprivate to enter Private Mode
  3. Left click on every chest you wish to be private.
  4. Type /lwc -r modes to exit all LWC modes.

/cremove - This command is used to remove all locks on any container. This includes private and public locks. This command can only be used on containers that you own. When you type in this command, you will be prompted to left click on a container. When you left click on the container, you will receive the message "Removed lock on the chest successfully!". This container now has no LWC protection on it, and can be locked or opened by other players. This command can also be used with Persist Mode to remove locks on multiple chests at once.

/cmodify - This command is used to modify an existing private protection, and is probably the most confusing of the bunch. With this command, you can edit which specific people can access your private chests. Simply typing /lwc -m shows you how this command works, but it's not very clear. I will attempt to make it clearer. Please note that PlayerName would be replaced with the name of the person you are adding or removing.

/lwc -m @PlayerName - This will add PlayerName to the list of people who are able to access your private chest.
/lwc -m -PlayerName - This will remove PlayerName from the list of people who are able to access your privatechest
/lwc -m @PlayerName1 -PlayerName2 - This command is a fusion of the two modify commands from above. This command will add PlayerName1 to the list, and remove PlayerName2 from the list. Notice the difference: @ stands for add, - stands for subtract.

VIP's get an extra feature, the Dropchest!

The dropchest is a selectable chest (preferable at your base) where, when you drop an item, said item gets transported too. the commands are as follows:

/lwc modesdroptransfer select - Select a chest to droptransfer to.
/lwc modesdroptransfer on - Turn on drop transferring.
/lwc modesdroptransfer off - Turn off drop transferring.
/lwc modesdroptransfer status - check wether drop transferring is on or off.

If you see anything wrong with these commands, please contact an admin/mod Smile
